(posted January 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.) 2-HOUR DELAYED START - ALL LPS SCHOOLS. After carefully monitoring the forecast for extremely low temperatures in the early morning hours, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The forecasted temperatures improve as the day progresses. / 2 HORAS DE RETRASO EN EL COMIENZO - TODAS LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS. Después de supervisar cuidadosamente el pronóstico de temperaturas extremadamente bajas durante las primeras horas de la mañana, se tomó la decisión de retrasar dos horas el comienzo de todas las escuelas de LPS el martes 21 de enero de 2025. Las temperaturas pronosticadas mejorarán durante el curso del día.

Apr. 30  Mandatory Senior Class Meeting during Seminar. 

May 3  Prom/After Prom.

May 12-16  Mandatory Senior Exit Interviews (All fines and fees must be paid prior to interview in Post Grad Office. No appointment needed.).

May 16  Cap & Gown pick-up (8:45 am - 3:45pm in Student Services Office in Main Lobby). See additional information below.

May 16  Last Day of School for Seniors: Senior Pep Rally, Senior Slide Show and Spring Fling (2:15 - 4:00 pm, LHS gyms, Athletic parking lot and grass fields) 

May 20  Senior Awards Convocation in LHS Theater at 6:00 pm (postcard invite mailed week of May 1).

May 24  Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal (TBD am, South Gym) - Don't be late!

May 24  Graduation (9:00 am, DU Magness Arena; doors open at 8:00 am; parking lot available starting at 7:00 am).

Caps and Gowns Pickup

Caps and Gowns will be distributed to graduating seniors via our Student Services Office in Main Lobby on Friday, May 17th from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm. Remember all fees/fines must be paid, and your exit interview must be complete. Your Chromebook needs to be turned in, as well as any LHS textbooks.
