Since then, the program has flourished, with a variety of students and learners opting for the diploma track each year. Our graduates gain entrance to competitive colleges and universities in the nation and world. Recent graduates attend these universities: Penn, Cal Tech, Smith, Williams, Northwestern, Dartmouth, Villanova, University of Southern California, McGill, Cal Poly, Cal Tech, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Marquette, Creighton, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, Rensselaer Polytechnic, Tulane, Baylor, St. Olaf, Puget Sound, Colorado School of Mines, Pitzer, University of British Columbia, University of Denver, Colorado College, University of Colorado and Colorado State, among many others.

Littleton's IB diploma rate is 90 percent; the worldwide diploma rate is about 80 percent. More than a third of Littleton High School's teachers have attended intensive IB training that covers curriculum and assessments. All LHS IB teachers also teach non-IB courses here.

Our curriculum offerings include: for world languages, French and Spanish; for science, sports exercise and health science, biology HL, and chemistry SL; for mathematics, math HL and two SL math courses.

Sixth subject offereings include HL and SL visual arts, HL and SL music, HL and SL design technology, as well as business management, economics, global politics, and chemistry, all SL.

All students take the HL language/ literature course and HL history.

Students take six courses over the course of their junior and senior years, and complete the Extended Essay research paper, Theory of Knowledge course, and 150 hours of Creativity, Activity, and Service.
