LHS School Video

Mrs. Benton is excited to become the principal at Littleton High School this year, and she looks forward to the LHS students, staff, and families coming back together to re-energize the culture and community that we all love so much.

Mrs. Benton’s path to LHS started years ago at Gateway High School in Aurora, where she told folks she would be back to teach and coach.  And sure enough after graduating from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, she started teaching language arts, sponsoring the school newspaper, and coaching basketball and soccer at Aurora Central High School. She moved to Heritage High School here in LPS, where she continued to teach and coach.  After earning her master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Education Administration and Supervision, she moved into roles as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.  Then in 2008, she became a Lion coming to LHS as a language arts teacher.  While here at LHS, she has worn many hats, including assistant girls soccer coach, Instructional Coach, Athletic Director, and Assistant Principal for Instruction.

Mrs. Benton is married, and you can often see her husband Kevin and stepson Noah attending LHS events with her.  Her stepdaughter Jessica, a Heritage High grad, is pursuing a career in the healthcare field.   As a family, they enjoy traveling, camping, and attending church events and activities.

Admin. Asst.1 to Asst. Principal - Paula Alred, 303-347-7715

Mr. Colias is a native of Palatine, Illinois, outside of Chicago.  He earned a BA from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and later his MAT from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Regis University in Denver.

Mr. Colias began his career in public education in 2000, teaching four years at a high school in the Chicago Public Schools.  Upon moving to Colorado in 2004, he landed at Littleton High School as an ELA/ELD teacher and Department Chair, where he remained for nine years.  During that time, he earned certification for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (which he still holds), and served in a variety of academic roles, including being active in launching PLCs at LHS.  One of his favorite experiences was chaperoning ELA students in a “Learn to Snowboard” program for several years. Leaving both the classroom and LHS in 2013, Chris has since served at several Denver Public high schools and middle schools as an instructional coach, dean, and assistant principal.  He returns to Littleton High School this year as Assistant Principal for Instruction.

A long time resident of Northwest Denver, Chris has a daughter, Ana, and a son, George, who each attends school in DPS.  When they have breaks from their athletic schedules, they sometimes accompany their dad on skiing, mountain biking, and fly-fishing trips. Chris is very excited and humbled to return to the LHS Community.

In 2010, after earning a Master in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, Mr. Enzminger transitioned to the position of JFK Assistant Principal and Athletics & Activities Director.

The fall of 2021 will mark the start of Mr. Enzminger’s fifth year at LHS as Assistant Principal and Athletics Director. He is excited to get back to a full schedule of athletics and activities this year and seeing the Lions compete and succeed on and off the playing fields, courts, pool, and gym.  As Littleton residents and parents to three LPS student-athletes, Mr. Enzminger and his wife Kasey are extremely excited to be a part of the LHS team and community. GO LIONS!

Admin. Asst. - Karen Biderman, 303-347-7733

Ms. Lindly moved to Colorado over one decade ago and in 2019, she moved to Littleton, joining Littleton High School. She was raised in Wyoming and considers herself fortunate to visit family and friends often - especially her rambunctious 2-year-old niece.

After graduating from high school, Ms. Lindly earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wyoming. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Fort Collins to attend graduate school at Colorado State University. In 2009 she earned a master's degree in social work and became licensed as a School Social Worker. While working in the schools, Ms. Lindly dedicated her time to deepen her skills and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor. While serving in a variety of leadership roles in public education over the years, Ms. Lindly realized the depth of her passion for working with students, families, communities, and systems. After completing her Principal Licensure program, she took on a new challenge as Dean of Students in Thompson School District. In her time as dean, Ms. Lindly found the intersection of her passion meeting her purpose, and now serving as your Assistant Principal will only strengthen her love for public education.

In her free time, Ms. Lindly enjoys traveling, seeing live music, and exploring Denver with her partner, Ethan, and their two dogs.

Ms. Lindly is incredibly happy to make a new home at Littleton High School and is looking forward to working with each of you to ensure we all feel safe and heard in an environment that nurtures our growth and success. Stop in to say hello!
