As we continue through the year's final quarter, we also enter assessment season.  The following is information revelant to April and our assessment calendar. Students across Colorado are taking the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) assessments in English Language Arts, math and science to measure their knowledge of the Colorado Academic Standards.

Powell's Testing Calendar is as follows for 6th-8th CMAS English Language Arts and Math

• Monday, April 7th: 8:20-10:30am & 12:40-2:05 pm
• Tuesday, April 8th: 8:20-10:30 am& 12:40-2:05 pm
• Thursday, April 10th: 8:20-10:30 pm & 12:40-2:05 pm

Powell's Testing Calendar is as follows for CMAS Science (8th grade ONLY)

• Wednesday, April 9th: 9:20-11:00 am & 12:30-2:10 pm
• Friday, April 11th: 8:20-9:55 am

Please schedule appointments outside of testing times. We ask that students bring their fully chargedChromebooks during the testing window. The instructional activities for these calendar dates include students' current classes and coursework and the above-scheduled assesments. Students in attendance who are not taking the assessments will read or complete schoolwork in the cafeteria.
