  • Call For Nominations For School Directors Littleton Public Schools

    Call For Nominations For School Directors Littleton Public Schools (Arapahoe County School District Number Six) Arapahoe County, Colorado The Board of Education of Littleton Schools in the County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, calls for nomination of candidates for school directors to be placed on the ballot for the regular biennial school election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. At this election two directors will be elected for one 4-year term each. To be qualified, a candidate must have been a registered elector and a resident of the school district for at least twelve consecutive months before the election. A person is ineligible to run for school director if he or she has been convicted of committing a sexual offense against a child. A person who desires to be a candidate for school director shall file with the school district a written notice of intention to be a candidate and a nomination petition in accordance with law. Nomination petitions may be obtained at the Littleton Public Schools’ Finance Office, 5776 South Crocker Street, Littleton, CO. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Completed petitions should be submitted with 50 eligible signatures to the Littleton Public Schools’ Finance Office by 4:30 p.m. on August 30, 2019. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Education designated election official, Diane Doney of Littleton Public School District 6, in the County of Arapahoe and the State of Colorado, has caused this call for nominations to be given this August 7, 2019.


    The Spring of 2019 found Littleton Public Schools offering multiple community visioning sessions in which the community was asked to help envision the future needs of our students in regards to the rapidly changing world. We had over 300 participants through all the sessions. The data from these sessions was diligently compiled and used to create infographics. Please view the infographic for each session and the district as a whole.

  • Pride Day for all who are new to Powell is Thursday, 8/15!

    Pride Day is Thursday, August 15th.  6th grade is  9:00 - 11:00 AM and 7th& 8th grade is 9:00 - 10:30.  This is our new student orientation program that pairs 8th grade Pride Leaders with new students.  There are many fun games and activities that take place on the football field designed to orient and begin the process of meeting new students.  We encourage all new students to attend. 

  • Schedule Pick Up and Student Photos

    We are excited to have your student attend Powell Middle School next year!  Schedule Pick Up and Student Pictures are Tuesday, August 13th, 9:00-12:00 or 1:00-3:00.  Students must have pictures taken for their student IDs and they are required to have their student ID to board the bus.  Please enter the Main Entrance of Powell and proceed to the cafeteria. Please note that it is always busiest right at the beginning.  If you have completed your Annual Family Check In and paid your fees online, the process should be quick and easy.  We thank you for your understanding.  Click here for a link to pre-pay for photo packages online.  Families are not required to purchase photos.
