Summer Reading for Returning 7th and 8th Grade Students

Over the summer, incoming 7th and 8th grade students* for the 2023-2024 school year should read a minimum of three books of their own choosing and complete two creative projects from the list of fifteen project options to practice and demonstrate reading comprehension and critical thinking.
Further details and materials can be found on our Summer Reading Project 2023 Google Classroom and direct links to digital copies of the materials students received in Language
Arts are provided below. In order to join and access materials in Google Classroom, students must be logged into their @lpsk12.org Littleton Public Schools Google account.

Although the Summer Reading Project will not be due until approximately two weeks into the new school year, 7th and 8th Grade Language Arts teachers will provide due dates and presentation details as soon as school starts in August. In the meantime, please reach out to Mrs. Toland, the Summer Reading Project Sponsor, at mtoland[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us if you have any questions. She will be checking and responding to messages throughout the summer.
