Pledge of Membership

I pledge myself 
always to seek the light of truth,
to hold scholarly habits,
to engage in worthy service,
and to lead forward in all things
that advance the welfare of the school.

The purpose of NJHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship.   Any eighth-grader who has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or above from their 6th and 7th-grade years is eligible for membership and goes through an application process.

Induction Cenremony will be September 25th at 7:30 pm
First meeting will be October 2nd at 8th grade lunch in room 3044 (Dondelinger's room)
