The purpose of NJHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship.   Any eighth-grader who has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or above from their 6th and 7th-grade years is eligible for membership and goes through an application process.

Meetings are Wednesdays at 9:15 in room 3044.
