Delay/Closure ProceduresThe performance scorecard is an outward facing communication to show our progress in key areas of the organization. The scorecard will help us answer the questions, How are we doing? and How do we know? A strong school district shows its work and provides transparency to the entire community regarding progress toward its most important goals. The Performance Scorecard will help us do just that.
District leaders from learning services, human resources, operations, innovative technology, communications and finance were involved in selecting the three most relevant data sets for each Board priority. District leaders will continue to monitor these data and provide scorecard updates as appropriate.
The scorecard helps us more easily make connections between key data elements and the district’s most important work. It shows the relationship between each Board priority and the district’s 100 percent goal. The scorecard also brings that data together in one place so that Board members, district and school leaders, employees, parents, and community members can track our progress in each Board priority area.
The Performance Scorecard will provide a springboard for important conversations throughout the school district regarding the Board’s priorities. Teachers, leaders, parents, community members and the Board of Education will use this data to ask important questions, make adjustments, and determine next steps.
