High school in Littleton Public Schools is the pinnacle of a public school experience. In LPS, we have opportunities for students to pursue their passions while preparing for life after high school, and we have something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a traditional high school experience, International Baccalaureate, free college credit through advanced placement or concurrent enrollment courses, early high school for eighth graders, athletics, performing arts, or pursuing a career pathway, YOU BELONG HERE.
Students can attend one of three comprehensive high schools in Littleton Public Schools: Arapahoe High School, Heritage High School, or Littleton High School. All three offer the district’s rigorous curriculum, and each maintains a unique personality where students feel a sense of belonging. Arapahoe, Heritage, and Littleton are known throughout Colorado and across the nation for outstanding commitment to excellence, professional staff, and high student achievement.
Every LPS high school student also has access to innovative programming at the state-of-the-art EPIC Campus. EPIC stands for Explorative Pathways for Innovative Careers, and the classes students can take at EPIC Campus are unique to LPS. Students work with industry partners and can leave high school with certifications, college credit, and/or guaranteed internship opportunities thanks to the course offerings at EPIC Campus. LPS transportation is provided from the home high school to the EPIC Campus, making attendance at EPIC feasible for any student who wants to work classes at EPIC into their schedule.
The EPIC Campus gives all LPS high school students, along with students from Englewood Public Schools and Sheridan Public Schools, the opportunity to explore their interests and passions in our seven pathways. Students attend EPIC courses as part of their home school schedule with transportation provided for LPS students. EPIC Campus provides engaging, hands-on experiences tied directly to industry and post-secondary education standards. Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent enrollment credit through our partnerships with community colleges and universities as well as industry certifications, including Certified Nursing Assistant, OSHA, and Comptia A+. Content credit, which satisfies graduation requirements, can be earned in every pathway. EPIC students are encouraged to participate in a work-based learning program before graduation to get a true sense of the work in that career pathway.
