On Friday, July 22, 2022, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) issued a news release detailing an award earned by the LPS finance department. It is the 28th consecutive year that LPS Finance has received this award.

According to the news release, the Certificate of Achievement in Excellence in Financial Reporting is "the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management." The award is for LPS's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2021.
