The American Heart Association (AHA) presented Littleton Public Schools with a Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite Award at the LPS Board Meeting on Thursday, February 25. The award is the AHA’s seal of approval that the district is providing healthy choices and making health a priority for its employees. It is an honor that in its first year having an employee wellness program that LPS achieved the gold level.
In a letter sent to Littleton Public Schools regarding the honor, AHA wrote: “As a Gold level award recipient, you have fulfilled the key criteria and demonstrated a strong commitment to providing a healthy workplace for employees.”
