Special Services Advisory Committee (SSAC)

Littleton Public Schools believes that parents are key partners in their child's education. As the person who best knows their child's needs, interests, and strengths, your participation is critical to your child's educational success.

One support available to parents is the District Special Services Advisory Committee (SSAC). This group is primarily composed of parents of children with disabilities. They meet monthly during the school year to address their priorities of:

  1. Advising the district on special education priorities
  2. Providing training and workshops to parents and community members
  3. Disseminating information regarding special education programs and community resources
