Congratulations to Lindley McCrary! She was elected to a three-year commitment by the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) Board of Directors at their retreat this past weekend. She will serve this year as President-Elect, then take the helm as President, and then serve a year as Immediate Past-President. In this role, she will represent and lead the 23-member CASB Board of Directors comprised of school board members representing 12 regions across Colorado.
CASB represents and advocates for more than 1,000 school board members and superintendents statewide to groups both within and outside the K–12 education community. CASB also cultivates relationships with dozens of governing bodies and other education stakeholders — at both the state and national level — to ensure a unified and effective voice and presence on behalf of its members.
"We are confident that Lindley will continue to be an outstanding advocate for LPS and for all of Colorado’s public school districts in this new role!" said LPS Superintendent Brian Ewert.
McCrary was elected to the LPS Board of Education in November 2019. She currently serves as the LPS Board Treasurer.
