After carefully monitoring the forecast for extremely low temperatures in the early morning hours, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Delay/Closure ProceduresThe Littleton Public Schools Medicaid Health Services Program allows school districts to be partially reimbursed from Medicaid for the medical services they provide to students with Medicaid, who have an IEP or a written plan of care. Parents can be reassured that the district's Medicaid reimbursement does not affect the family's personal Medicaid benefits.

Health First Colorado (Medicaid) and CHP+ will return to normal eligibility renewal processes with renewals due in May and noticing beginning in March 2023. The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) will take 12 months to complete renewals.
