Here are the details:
When is it? Wednesday, March 14th, 3pm-6pm
What is it? A 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to benefit the American Heart Association
Who can Play?? Any current Powell Student (6th, 7th, or 8th grade) and/or Teacher, There will be 3 divisions this year, a 6th grade division, a 7th grade division, and an 8th grade division. Students from other schools may not attend or participate.
How many players can I have on my team? A minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 5 players can be on a team, and the team must be a coed team (meaning that you must have at least one player of the opposite gender on your team).
How much does it cost to enter? Each team costs $40.00 to enter, and all money raised goes to the American Heart Association!
Can a teacher play on my team? Yes! But there is also a Teacher All-Star team who will be in the tournament, and if you end up playing them, you won't stand a chance anyway!
Where do I pick up the forms? First, get a team together, 2nd choose a team captain and a team name. Only the team captain should come to the attendance office and pick up the forms and paperwork for all of the members of the team. All team paperwork and money should be turned into Mrs. Durbin in the Attendance Office no later than, Monday, March 12th at 3pm. That is the deadline! There will be no exceptions made if your paperwork and money is not turned in by the deadline!!!
