Angela Christensen Sworn In as New LPS Board of Education Member

Angela Christensen was officially sworn in as a member of the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education at the Board’s March 11, 2021 meeting. She will serve the remainder of the term that expires in November, at which time she can seek election to her first full term.

Ms. Christensen was selected by the Board out of a pool of 15 candidates. She has served on many district committees and organizations within Littleton Public Schools, volunteering over 8,000 hours of her time. She has served as the president of PTO Presidents Council, co-chaired the Yes on 4C mill levy override campaign in 2020, served on the Financial Advisory Committee and the LPS Foundation Board of Directors, and she has been an active member of PTOs and accountability committees at her children’s schools. She also volunteers for various non-profit organizations serving the underprivileged as well as elders through Nourish Meals on Wheels. She has done contract and consulting work for DenverWorks, a local non-profit that empowers the unemployed and those with barriers to employment to become self-supporting through job placement and preparation. Ms. Christensen has twin boys attending LPS schools.
