Littleton High School renamed their baseball field to honor former coach Willie White. In addition to leading the LHS Lions to two state championships, White also earned a World Series ring with the Philadelphia Phillies, where he was a member of their recruting staff for more than 20 years.
In response to the dedication ceremony that took place on September 28th, LPS Superintendent said, “We're glad we can honor Coach Willie while he's still here to enjoy it. We talk a lot about providing good role models for kids, and here's someone who affected the life trajectories of so many young people.”
