The students at Field Elementary celebrated new playground equipment on August 23, which replaced old swing sets and outdated equipment. The new swings, slides and climbing structures are the result of a grant from the Arapahoe County Open Spaces that was secured through a partnership between the City of Littleton, Littleton Public Schools and Field Elementary. On hand for the ribbon cutting were Joe Hayes, Field principal; Robyn Zagoren, LPS Wellness Coordinator; Jerry Valdez, Mayor Pro Tem with the City of Littleton; Littleton City Council member Kyle Schlacter; and Arapahoe County Open Space representatives Bev Bradshaw, J.D.
