The AHS Warrior Percussion Ensemble performed their Steampunk inspired show, Retro Future, on Saturday, April 6th at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs. Their performance took them to the Finals where their score of 91.375 took first place and the gold medal, earning them the title of RMPA State Champions in Scholastic Concert Open Class.

During the following week of April 10-14, the ensemble competed in Dayton, Ohio at the Winter Guard International World Percussion Championships, competing against 250 percussion ensembles and finishing with a final score of 88.050 and a 6th place ranking in Scholastic Concert Open Class. Their performance blended classical music with a more modern twist, looking to the past to see where the future might be going. Congratulations to the Warrior Percussion Ensemble!
