Littleton Public Schools is proud to announce that junior Tyla Merrill of Arapahoe High School earned a perfect composite score of 36 on a recent ACT test. On average, less than one-tenth of a percent of students earn this top score making this an incredible accomplishment for Merrill.
“In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2016, only 2,235 out of nearly 2.1 million graduates who took the ACT earned a composite score of 36,” states the ACT organization.
The ACT is a national exam that consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. While colleges look at other factors in addition to this test, ACT scores play an important role in the admission process.
