Littleton Public Schools Celebrates Concurrent Enrollment Month

February is Concurrent Enrollment (CE) Month, and we’re thrilled to spotlight this incredible opportunity available to our LPS students! Concurrent enrollment in Colorado allows 9th-12th grade high school students to enroll in college-level courses and earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. Offered through partnerships between Littleton Public Schools and our higher education institution partners (Arapahoe Community College, Colorado State University, CUSucceed, Front Range Community College, Metro State University, Pueblo Community College, and Red Rocks Community College) this program provides students with access to college coursework at no cost to the student for tuition, helping them get a head start on their postsecondary education while still in high school.

Littleton currently has 3,000+ CE student enrollments per semester, saving millions of dollars.

Why CE Matters
Concurrent enrollment matters because it provides high school students with access to free college courses, removing tuition costs and reducing time spent in college or trade school. It helps students explore career paths, build confidence in higher education, and increase their chances of postsecondary success. Whether a student's next step is college, a trade, the workforce or military service, CE levels up their knowledge and gives them a competitive edge!
