Community Resource Expo Brings Vital Support and Fun to Local Families

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the East Community Center hosted a highly successful Community Resource Expo. With approximately 450-500 attendees, the event was a great opportunity for families to connect with essential services and enjoy a day of fun activities. There were 55 volunteers and 49 booths for partnering organizations.

Attendees were able to access a wide range of resources and make connections with community partners, eat food, and participate in family friendly games and activities. Local partners provided items such as self-stable food; clothing; toiletries; cleaning supplies; as well as kids’ books, stickers, and toys, ensuring attendees left with both practical support and memorable experiences.

The Community Resource Expo demonstrated the strength of collaboration between community organizations and the school district, with the LPS Foundation, human resources, and nutrition services also participating to offer guidance and support on district-related services and opportunities.

The East Community Center and Littleton Public Schools are so grateful for the partnerships throughout the community that made this event possible for local families!
