Littleton Preparatory Charter School filled with excitement as students and parents began pouring in on Wednesday morning, the first day of the new school year. Greeted by Principal Kim Ash, Lisa Lira, director of operations, and Littleton Public Schools Superintendent Brian Ewert, students and parents were equally enthusiastic about the prospect of another great school year.

Funneling down the hallway, students and parents toted bags of school supplies to their brightly decorated classrooms. On their way, many stopped to chat with their new superintendent. Ewert met teachers, parents, students and even a few of Littleton Prep’s board members. After helping a student avoid dropping a paper bag full of school supplies, the young student smiled as he shook Ewert’s hand. Recognizing the happy bustle of the first day of school, Ewert was pleased he was able to share that moment with Littleton Prep!
