Led by Principal Trudy Meisinger, Runyon Elementary Administrators officially opened the school's new playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 16th! Superintendent Brian Ewert joined the school community in celebrating this wonderful addition to Runyon Elementary School.

Spearheaded by LPS Wellness, Runyon's playground was made possible through a partnership with the City of Littleton, who provided a $50,00 cash-match, and a $282,029 grant from Arapahoe Open Space. The Runyon Playground Committee and the school's PTO also played a central role in making this playground a reality.
