Members of the Northern Arapaho Nation visited Arapahoe High School recently to perform traditional dances and to renew their relationship with the school. The AHS student body gathered in Sitting Eagle gym to watch - and join in - as tribe members danced and shared their heritage. Dozens of tribe members came from the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming to honor their relationship with the school.
Arapahoe High School is one of the few schools in the nation to have received endorsement from the Native American tribe after which they were named.
