LPS Students Excel at TSA Nationals

The National Technology Student Association (TSA) conference was held June 28 to July 2, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. 7500 students from the United States, Turkey and Germany participated, including more than 50 students from Littleton Public Schools. LPS participants represented Littleton Academy, Euclid Middle School, Goddard Middle School, Arapahoe High School, Heritage High School and Littleton High School.

Middle School
Euclid students received 1st place in Microcontroller, 2nd place in Digital Photography, and top 10 in Construction Challenge and Mass Production. In addition, a Euclid student placed in the top 16 in the country in the Dragster competition. Goddard received 1st place in Prepared Speech and two 2nd places in Biotechnology Design and Mass Production. Students from Littleton Academy competed in the Flight and Catapult cataegories in Nashville. 

High School
Heritage High School placed in the top 10 for Engineering Design and Littleton High School received a 1st place in Problem Solving and a 2nd place in Digital Video Production.

Congratulations to all of the LPS students for a wonderful performance and a special thank you also to all of the TSA teachers/advisors who took time from their summer vacation so that students could participate!
