More than three-dozen LPS Career and Technical Education students and teachers/advisors took time out of their summer breaks to attend, and prepare for, National Leadership Conferences held throughout the country.
Seven students and one teacher/advisor from the Littleton Health Sciences program attended the 2017 HOSA - Future Health Professionals National Leadership Conference, held June 21-25 in Orlando, Florida. Shortly after, another seven students and one teacher/advisor from Arapahoe High School attended the 2017 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference held June 29-July 2 in Anaheim, California.
Meanwhile, 30 students, six teachers/advisors and LPS’ Career and Technical Education Coordinator, Mimi Leonard, attended the 2017 Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference, also held June 21-25 in Orlando, Florida. Students from Powell, Euclid, Arapahoe High School, Heritage High School and Littleton High School participated in a variety of competitive events and represented Littleton Public Schools very well.
