Littleton Public Schools kicked off the 2024–2025 school year with the annual Western Welcome Week Parade, held on Saturday, August 17, 2024. This beloved community tradition, which brings together residents and organizations from across Littleton, provides the perfect opportunity for LPS to showcase its spirit and connect with the broader community.
Students, staff, and families from across the district proudly marched in the parade, donning band or athletic uniforms or school colors and waving to enthusiastic crowds. The LPS contingent always brings lively music by the marching bands, and this year’s talented students energized crowds throughout the whole parade route.
Superintendent Todd Lambert, Board of Education members, and other district leaders also participated, expressing their excitement for the new school year and gratitude for the community’s ongoing support.
Events like the Western Welcome Week Parade showcase the strong community ties that are so integral to the district’s success. The participation in this year’s parade was a clear reflection of the district’s commitment to unity and community engagement as LPS embarks on another successful academic year.
