On December 9, 2022, Littleton Public Schools hosted a Sign with Santa event at Gaskill Elementary School and invited all school districts in Colorado. Families came from Littleton Public Schools as well as Denver Public Schools, Cherry Creek School District, Aurora Public Schools, and Rocky Mountain Deaf School. Children had the opportunity to sign with Santa, and some parents were visibly moved for their children to have this experience.

There were also movies, snacks, arts and crafts, and games for attendees at the event.

Over 20 volunteers came to help manage the event; there were LPS educational interpreters, LPS teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing, volunteers from the deaf community, representatives from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, volunteers from DOVE (Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment), and three volunteers from the LPS teacher cadet program.

Toy donations were accepted on behalf of DOVE, and the organization was very grateful for all the donations.
