LPS Education to Career Pathways Feedback Survey

Dear LPS Parents, Staff & Community Members:

Littleton Public Schools will be selecting, developing, and implementing between four and six education to career pathways that will assist students in preparing for rewarding and emerging careers, while ensuring that graduation and college entrance requirements are being met.

Each pathway will contain a series of courses specifically and intentionally designed to provide students with exciting learning opportunities that will include college and university credit, industry certifications, apprenticeships, and paid employment opportunities before graduating from high school.

We would like to invite you to help inform our decision on which education to career pathways are the best fit for students, and ask that you spend 5-10 minutes taking a survey on the pathways.  Please review each proposed pathway and provide your opinion whether or not it would be a good fit for our students.

Things to consider when ranking the pathways:

  • Your personal experience
  • The amount of education needed to enter into careers in a pathway
  • Anticipated growth of the careers in a pathway
  • The average salary for the careers in a pathway, and the opportunity for students to earn a “living wage” of $60,000 per year.
  • How many jobs will be available when students enter the workforce

Your input will help inform our decision on which pathways are the best fit for the LPS community.
