LPS Board President Receives McGuffey Award

LPS Board President Jack Reutzel recently received a McGuffey Award from the Colorado Association of Schools Boards (CASB). Annually, the McGuffey Award celebrates school board leaders for their committed and passionate service to their district.

Reutzel was nominated for the award by fellow Board of Education Member Carrie Warren-Gully.  “Jack leads with humor, head and heart, and his dedication to the development of new Board members serves as a model for others,” said Warren-Gully. “Jack exemplifies the true meaning of leadership.”

Reutzel was elected to the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education in November 2013 and was elected Board President in 2015. A long-time Littleton community member, Reutzel’s children are graduates of LPS schools.
