AHS’ Erin Grantham Wins Career and Technical Teacher of the Year Award

Erin Grantham, Marketing Teacher at Arapahoe High School, was selected as the Career and Technical Teacher of the Year at the recent Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education (CACTE) Career Tech Summit held July 14-18 in Loveland, Colorado.  

This award recognizes the finest career and technical teachers at the middle/secondary school level who have demonstrated innovation in the classroom, commitment to their students and dedication to the improvement of CTE in their institutions and communities.

The CACTE Excellence Awards Program seeks to promote excellence in career and technical education by recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of career and technical education, programs which exemplify the highest standards and organizations which have conducted activities to help promote and expand career and technical education programs. 

The Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education (CACTE) is the state professional association for Career and Technical Education. Since 1917, CACTE has been the largest state organization supporting Colorado Career and Technical Educators in their efforts to prepare students for career and life success. CACTE’s members include teachers, administrators, teacher educators, career counselors, teacher candidates, business partners and other career tech professionals.
