LHS Senior Kenneth Huynh Named a Daniels Scholar

Littleton High School senior Kenneth Huynh has been named a Daniels Scholar and has received a four-year full-ride scholarship to the college or university of his choice. Kenneth has been accepted to the BA/BS-MD Program at the University of Colorado at Denver and affiliated with the CU School of Medicine.

Applying for the Daniels Scholarship Program is a competitive process. This year there were 1,850 applications - local community and business leaders helped the Foundation committee interview 408 finalists, of which 218 were selected as Daniels Scholars.

The Daniels Fund was established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels. The Fund is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program and ethics initiative. With the announcement of this year’s selections, 4,168 students have received the Daniels Scholarship and more than $188 million in scholarships has been awarded through the Daniels Scholarship Program since 2000.
