The Colorado Association of School Boards has designated the month of January as “School Board Appreciation Month,” and the office of Governor Polis issued a proclamation establishing January 13–19 as "School Board Appreciation Week." In honor of School Board Appreciation Month/Week, Littleton Public Schools would like to thank LPS Board members Robert Reichardt, Angela Christensen, Lindley McCrary, Andrew Graham, and Joan Anderssen for their dedicated service and devotion to putting students first and helping make Littleton Public Schools an award-winning and community-oriented district.
In order to serve the ‘LPS family,’ Board members spend time away from their own families. They serve as a result of their passion for education and for each child’s welfare. They check egos at the door and focus their work on what is best for students and the LPS community. Through their advocacy for resources necessary to continue improving student learning, they lead Littleton Public Schools along the path to success. Board members are willing to grapple with complicated issues and set a positive example through their leadership at the local and state levels. LPS is grateful to have a Board with integrity and courage. We thank you for your leadership!
