LPS Accredited with Distinction for the 6th time!

The Colorado Department of Education released on Friday its latest, preliminary academic performance ratings.

We are proud to announce that Littleton Public Schools has retained the designation of Accredited with Distinction for 2016. LPS remains the only school district in the Denver Metro Area to have earned the top rating of Accredited with Distinction all six times it has been offered!

In addition, all LPS schools earned the highest plan rating – PERFORMANCE – on the state's scoring rubric. (One school was given a preliminary rating of "Improvement Plan-due to Participation" only due to low student participation on state assessment tests. LPS is reviewing the participation data, and a reconsideration request is already underway.) Performance Frameworks will be finalized later this fall after the reconsideration process has been concluded. LPS students overall continue to achieve at the very highest levels. We are so proud!

Congratulations to LPS students, teachers, and all those who support their work!
