The Colorado Association of School Boards has designated the month of January as “School Board Appreciation Month.” In honor of School Board Appreciation Month, Littleton Public Schools would like to thank LPS Board members Angela Christensen, Andrew Graham, Lindley McCrary, Joan Anderssen, and Chérie Garcia-Kuper for their dedicated service and devotion to putting students first and helping make Littleton Public Schools an award-winning and community-oriented district.
In order to serve LPS students, staff, and families, Board members spend time away from their own families. They serve as a result of their passion for education and for each child’s welfare. They are driven to do what is best for students and the LPS community. Through their advocacy for resources necessary to continue improving student learning, they lead Littleton Public Schools along the path to success. Board members are willing to check their egos at the door, grapple with complicated issues, and set a positive example through their leadership at the local and state levels. LPS is grateful to have a Board with integrity and courage. We thank you for your leadership!
Thank you again for all you do for the LPS community.
