All classified employees will be required to have fingerprinting done prior to beginning work. Fingerprinting costs are $39.50, which will be deducted from the employee's first paycheck. Substitutes, Coaches and Champion employees are required to pay for fingerprinting at the time of hire.
Some classified positions require a physical. An appointment for the physical will be set up by the Employment Technician and paid for by the school district, providing the employee remains employed 90 days or more.
As required by the Department of Homeland Security for the I-9 Verification, employees must present one (1) document from List A OR a combination of documents, one (1) from List B and one (1) from List C (see attached list). In addition a social security card is required for payroll and PERA documentation.
A new employee in an introductory or regular position for 20 hours or more per week (0.5 FTE licensed ) is eligible for District benefits.
