In partnership with Littleton Adventist Hospital and Schomp, The Stride is a community event that brings together students, parents, teachers, staff and neighborhoods with a focus on health, wellness, community and school spirit. “Our goal each year is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle along with building partnerships and support for Littleton Public Schools,” says Littleton Public Schools Foundation Executive Director Beth Best.
“We are so pleased to support The Stride,” said Geoff Lawton, Chief Operating Officer for Littleton Adventist Hospital. “It is a natural partnership since we share the same passion to elevate the overall well-being of our community. Littleton Adventist Hospital is continually working to build upon our tradition of care and to achieve our vision for every community and neighborhood to be whole and healthy for years to come.”
The Stride will also host a pre and post-race Wellness Expo where community partners will set up fun, informative, and interactive booths that runners, spectators and volunteers can stroll through while enjoying pancakes provided by Flippin’ Flapjacks. The Expo is a collection of local businesses who share the same mission of supporting public education and students within the Littleton Public Schools district.
“We like to support events like The Stride that gives us an arena to connect with people and support the local community. Schomp Spark is our way of giving back to education, wellness, and stewardship,” explains Schomp Director of Sponsorships and Events, Carla Finn.
We hope to see you there!
