After carefully monitoring weather conditions and consulting with weather services, law enforcement agencies, the Colorado Department of Transportation and other school districts, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, December 10. 2 HORAS DE RETRASO EN EL COMIENZO - TODAS LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS. Después de supervisar cuidadosamente las condiciones meteorológicas y de consultar con las fuerzas de seguridad y de orden público, el Departamento de Transporte de Colorado y otros distintos escolares, se tomó la decisión de retrasar dos horas el comienzo de todas las escuelas de LPS el martes 10 de diciembre.

Learn about the candidates running for the LPS Board of Education

Littleton Public Schools is hosting two Board of Education Candidate Forums, both of which will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about and ask questions of the four candidates running for election this November for two at-large positions on the LPS Board of Education.  

Cherie Garcia-Kuper, Brian Macaulay, Lindley McCrary and Michelle Redfearn are running to fill two seats open for the November 2023 election. Board member Robert Reichardt is finishing his second term on the Board and cannot run for a third due to term limits. Lindley McCrary’s first term is ending and she is running for a second term.

The event will be live streamed through a link on district website.

Members of the community may submit questions via email prior to and during the forum. Those watching the event in person may also submit questions for the candidates on notecards that will be collected during the event.  As many questions as possible will be asked of the candidates during the Forum at the designated time.
