Students from Ms. Davidson's Digital Art & Design class, Mrs. Hawthorne's Studio Art class, as well as Mrs. King's Drawing class got involved this year with The Memory Project.
The Memory Project is a nonprofit organization that invites art teachers and their students to create portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, and extreme poverty" (memoryproject.org).
The art students involved in the project worked for hours on their portraits before sending them to the child to be received as a keepsake in areas of the world where they have so little.
