After carefully monitoring weather conditions and consulting with weather services, law enforcement agencies, the Colorado Department of Transportation and other school districts, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Friday, February 21, 2025. // 2 HORAS DE RETRASO EN EL COMIENZO - TODAS LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS. Después de supervisar cuidadosamente las condiciones meteorológicas y de consultar con las fuerzas de seguridad y de orden público, el Departamento de Transporte de Colorado y otros distintos escolares, se tomó la decisión de retrasar dos horas el comienzo de todas las escuelas de LPS el viernes 21 de febrero de 2025.
Delay/Closure Procedures || Procedimiento de Retraso/CierreStudents across Colorado will participate in the administration of the PSAT to 9th and 10th-grade students, and the SAT to 11th-grade students. The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) in science will be administered to 11th-grade students. The dates for testing are as follows:
SAT Grade 11 - Tuesday, April 16, 2024
PSAT Grade 9 - Wednesday, April 17, 2024
PSAT Grade 10 - Thursday, April 18, 2024
CMAS - Science Grade 11 - Thursday, April 18, 2024
These statewide assessments are considered an assessment of all students and are a part of our school accreditation and federal requirements. Make-up tests will be needed for those absent; therefore, we request that you please try to avoid medical/dental and other appointments during testing times.
