Learning Support Services

The Learning Support Services Department places a high value on supporting every student to meet their learning potential. Students with disabilities at Arapahoe High School receive support to help them become successful in all of their courses. A priority is to include every student in general education while recognizing and meeting individual needs through special education resources.

The Learning Support Services team of professionals at AHS is designed to meet the diverse needs of students in the building. We are proud to offer a variety of services, including our center-based program designed to provide more intensive support. Other services include: Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, Deaf/Hard of Hearing services, and Mental Health support.  Our team at AHS includes two school psychologists, an occupational therapist, and a speech/language therapist. We also provide center-based services for students that are deaf or hard of hearing by employing a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. The Learning Support Services Department strives to meet the needs of all students at AHS.
