For Seniors who would still like to apply to college ,Application Day is this Friday, April 8th from 8:30-10:30AM. If you have not already RSVP'd, please see Ms. Hall in the Post Grad Center.

Twelve colleges (both 4 year and 2 year) with rolling deadlines are participating and all are waiving their application fees. At 8:30, students will hear about the schools and will then use the remainder of the time to complete applications with assistance from the college reps. Ms. Hall will provide transcripts and unofficial ACT scores so that in two hours time students will have complete application packages.

On Friday morning, please go straight to the Forum after 1st period. Be sure to sign in so you will be excused from 2nd and 3rd period. Please refer to the checklist at the bottom of this page so you will have what you need to complete the online applications.  

Here is a list of the colleges participating in Application Day:

  • Arapahoe Community College
  • Community College of Aurora
  • Community College of Denver
  • Adams State University
  • Colorado Christian University
  • Colorado Mesa University
  • Fort Lewis College
  • Grand Canyon University
  • Johnson & Wales University
  • Metropolitan State University
  • University of Colorado, Colorado Springs 
  • Western State Colorado University 

The applications for the 13 Community Colleges in Colorado are the same. Therefore, the three participating community college representatives and Ms. Hall will be able to answer questions for students also interested in applying to any of the following community colleges:  

  • Colorado Northwestern Community College, 
  • Front Range Community College
  • Lamar Community College
  • Morgan Community College
  • Northeastern Junior College
  • Otero Junior College
  • Pikes Peak Community College
  • Pueblo Community College
  • Red Rocks Community College
  • Trinidad State Junior College

Please have this information available to you on Application Day:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Month/year parent/guardian moved to Colorado
  • Parent/guardian’s  driver’s license information: driver’s license number and date of issue/renewal
  • Parent/guardian’s motor vehicle registration: month/year of registration

(The last three items are for the community college residency questions to determine eligibility for in-state tuition.)

This event is free of charge to you. There will be no applications fees, no transcript fees, and no fees for unofficial ACT scores.
