Bates Kiwanis Student of the Month

Congratulations to senior Sydney Bates! She was selected by the AHS Faculty and Staff as the April Kiwanis Club Student of the Month and was recently honored at a breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. The Kiwanis Club partners with Arapahoe High School to highlight seniors who have overcome an obstacle or faced a challenging situation with strength, perseverance and courage. Pictured with Sydney are Kiwanis Club member Bob Colwell and AHS counselor, Lindsay Gillespie. Sydney was selected as a recipient of the Chick Evans Scholarship and is headed to Boulder in the fall to study at the University of Colorado. Congratulations on being such an exemplary Warrior, Sydney! We are proud of you and wish you ALL the best in your future endeavors!
