The Arapahoe High School Teacher of the Year is someone who is an exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled teacher who is recognized by our community for exemplifying the ability to:
- DELIVER RESULTS: Deliver results to students and Arapahoe community;
- FOSTER TEAMWORK: Promote collaboration in the classroom and in the department while inspiring students, colleagues, and the community with a positive vision for Arapahoe and its future;
- MODEL CHARACTER: Demonstrate integrity, honesty and courage, and treat others with dignity and respect;
- DEMONSTRATE GROWTH MINDSET: Make thoughtful decisions, show sound judgment, exemplify professionalism and reflect upon practice.
To be eligible for nomination as the Arapahoe Teacher of the Year, a person must be a non-probationary full-time teacher that has not received the award in the previous five years. Please visit the following link to complete a nomination.
