After carefully monitoring the forecast for extremely low temperatures in the early morning hours, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The forecasted temperatures improve as the day progresses. / 2 HORAS DE RETRASO EN EL COMIENZO - TODAS LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS. Después de supervisar cuidadosamente el pronóstico de temperaturas extremadamente bajas durante las primeras horas de la mañana, se tomó la decisión de retrasar dos horas el comienzo de todas las escuelas de LPS el martes 21 de enero de 2025. Las temperaturas pronosticadas mejorarán durante el curso del día.

Littleton Academy is a Core Knowledge Charter School

Littleton Academy is a proud recipient of the John Irwin School of Excellence Award.  We have received this award every year since 2002.

Intent to Enroll and Lottery

The lottery for the 2025-2026 school year was completed on December 10, 2024.  The lottery created our waitlist for each grade level.   All openings after prioity enrollments will be filled by the waitlist.  All acceptance letters will be sent by email.   If we exhaust a waitlist, we will fill openings from the 2026-2027 "Intent to Enroll From"  in the order they were received.   

To be included in our lottery in December of 2025, please fill out the following form: 2026-2027 Intent to Enroll Form.  If your student will not be 5 years old by October 1, 2025,  please choose "not age ready for Kindergarten." You only need to complete this form one time per student. Your student's information will not be removed unless you decline enrollment or do not repond to email. It will roll over from year to year.  If you need to change information previously entered please email Kelly Childers at kchilders[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us.

Enrollment notification and policy

Enrollment notification will follow the lottery as openings become available. Priority Enrollments will be offered first followed by those on the waitlist created by our lottery.  All offers are made by email.
 
Priority Enrollments:

1.       Children of current staff members

2.       Kindergartners that choose delay start the previous year

3.       Siblings of current students (based on student enrollment date of siblings)

4.       Children of graduates of Littleton Academy and grandchildren of retired staff who served at least 10 years with Littleton Academy. These students should not exceed 10% of total enrollment.

 
Please let the office know if you change your email address.  If you receive an enrollment offer, you will have 48 hours to respond. After August 1st, you will need to give a verbal commitment within 24 hours.

If an offer is made on a Friday, a decision is expected on the following Monday.  

Kindergarten offers will begin 2 days after the lottery.

Enrollment offers will be made for grades 1-8 as we know of openings.
