Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in the industry
  • Experience in nonprofit/education industry with knowledge of accounting,laws, rules, procedures and programs specific to the operation of public charter schools
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with an ability to streamline accounting and finance procedures
  • Detail oriented with strong follow through maintaining a focus on results
  • Ability to manage the ambiguity and multiple priorities present in an education environment
  • Comfort explaining complex financial matters in a simple way and an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Professionalism, maturity, and an understanding of how to handle sensitive and confidential information
