Congratulations to the History Bowl Team for making it to semi-finalist status at the state-wide tournament held at Fort Collins High School. The varsity team, pictured here, made it all the way to semi-finals, only being beaten by Fairview and Grand Junction High Schools. The junior varsity team, made up of Tim Hamer and Brett Swedlund, were also semi-finalists in their rounds. Both teams qualified for nationals, which required placing in the top half of teams at the competition. History bowl is a quiz bowl competition where players are tasked to answer questions on different areas of history, including U.S., European, and more generally world history.
