Enrollment

Littleton Academy is a Core Knowledge Charter School

Littleton Academy is a proud recipient of the John Irwin School of Excellence Award.  We have received this award every year since 2002.

Intent to Enroll and Lottery

The lottery for the 2025-2026 School year will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  A link will be posted if you would like to attend virtually.   The lottery creates a waitlist for each grade level.  Everyone on our list will recieve an email within 2 days of the lottery with your waitlist position. All openings after prioity enrollments will be filled by the waitlist.  All acceptance letters will be sent by email.   If we exhaust a waitlist, we will look at those that have entered their name after our lottery in the order they were received.   

Please click on the following link to be part of our lottery for the 25-26 school year: Intent to Enroll Form. If you are entering a student for a future kindergarten class, please choose "not age ready for Kindergarten." You only need to complete this form one time per student. Your student's information will not be removed unless you decline enrollment or do not repond to email. It will roll over from year to year.  If you need to change information previously entered please email Kelly Childers at kchilders[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us.

Enrollment notification and policy

Enrollment notification will follow the lottery as openings become available. Priority Enrollments will be offered first followed by those on the waitlist created by our lottery.  All offers are made by email.
 
Priority Enrollments:

1.       Children of current staff members

2.       Kindergartners that choose delay start the previous year

3.       Siblings of current students (based on student enrollment date of siblings)

4.       Children of graduates of Littleton Academy and grandchildren of retired staff who served at least 10 years with Littleton Academy. These students should not exceed 10% of total enrollment.

 
Please let the office know if you change your email address.  If you receive an enrollment offer, you will have 48 hours to respond. After August 1st, you will need to give a verbal commitment within 24 hours.

If an offer is made on a Friday, a decision is expected on the following Monday.  

Kindergarten offers will begin 2 days after the lottery.

Enrollment offers will be made for grades 1-8 as we know of openings. 

If you have not received an email by mid-February, you may email Kelly Childers at kchilders[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us to find out your lottery number.
