Dog Haus: Thank you to Kristin Morris for organizing the Lenski restaurant night with Dog Haus. It was a big success! The sliders are delicious and we look forward to working with them again in the future!
Teacher Appreciation: Thank you to Margie Bradley, Sarah Browning and Katie McKinster for coordinating teacher appreciation! We know the teachers loved (and will love) receiving all the notes of gratitude!
Yearbook: We would like to acknowledge Caroline Lesem for her amazing job organizing the yearbook this year! She worked tirelessly to make sure deadlines were met, pictures were in and organized and secured shipping directly to homes this year versus the school.The 2019-2020 school year is one that will always be remembered! Thank you so much Caroline!
Golf: We want to give a huge shout out to Suzette Loving, Sarah Anthony and Amy Silverman for orchestrating the golf tournament turned into golf "event" this year. All proceeds support the Lenski Technology Fund and we thank all of you who graciously donated to support the cause even without being able to tee it up!
5th grade continuation: We would like to thank Katie McKinster, Sarah Franklin and the entire 5th grade continuation committee for all their hard work, time and effort in planning 5th grade continuation. We had to make some adjustments and couldn't see a lot of plans through, but we appreciate everyone's time and thoughtfulness! We want to especially recognize Maggie Moore for helping pull together the slideshow presentations as well as Marcy Mercer for pulling together multiple versions of the continuation programs for our 5th graders! Thank you to Carrie Napolilli for all your help with the yard signs that helped make 5th graders feel a little extra special as well as your work on the class gift to the school. Thank you to Breea Dunn for coordinating class gifts for the teachers and Dr. DeSpain from the 5th grade class!
PTO Presidents: We want to take a moment to recognize Carrie Napolilli and Margie Bradley for doing an amazing job in the president/co-president positions this year! This spring has sent everyone into a tailspin but you have managed to keep us all together and have done an incredible job ensuring Lenski is poised for success! Carrie, thank you for the past 2 years of service as president! You have worked tirelessly advocating for what is best for the entire Lenski community. You have had so many wonderful ideas, portrayed great leadership and always went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everything was done correctly, everyone was well-informed and no detail was missed! Thank you so much for all your time, blood, sweat and tears! Lenski is fortunate to have you!
We have a few PTO members we would like to publicly acknowledge as they have given so much to Lenski and the PTO and will now be moving on! Suzette Loving has been the technology lead for many years. She started the committee and has since helped Lenski become a state-of-the-art STEM school in LPS! Suzette has also been responsible for the annual golf tournament for which she has put in countless hours securing the venue, obtaining sponsors, prizes, etc. We are sad to see her go, especially since the golf tournament wasn't as expected this year but we are forever grateful for all her time and effort supporting Lenski and the PTO! In addition, Amy Silverman will be moving on from Lenski as well. Amy has held a variety of roles for the PTO; most recently she has been in charge of School Services and creating and managing all of our JotForms for various events. Amy has pitched in to help with many Lenski activities through the years and we will miss having her at Lenski! Last, we want to say thank you to Amanda Dail for all your help with PTO over the years. Most recently, Amanda was in charge of King Soopers cards and has done a great job keeping these avenues of "free money" going strong for Lenski. Thank you all for your help and support for Lenski over the past few years! We will miss you all and wish you the very best!

The PTO would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone that worked on the Bingo committee. Special shout outs to Sara Bechtold and Deb Kennedy for managing refunds, changing up the drawings and working hard to pull it all together! We were so sad we couldn't do Bingo as normal this year but we appreciate everyone being so flexible and supporting this Lenski fundraiser through the drawings and donations.

We would like to thank Katie Hebert for organizing this years “Love from Lenski” Valentine’s Day campaign. During lunch last Thursday, the students created valentine cards and offered words of encouragement for those living at Someran Glen. The thoughtfulness of our students brightened the day of so many!

The PTO would like to thank Alli Clinton for coordinating and bringing in Dr. Marceny from Pediatric Pathways to speak last week. Dr. Marceny spoke to parents and students about the effects of vaping and e-cigarettes. It was very eye opening and beneficial to everyone.

The PTO would like to thank Tamara Nolting for organizing, helping and running kindergarten registration on Monday and Tuesday last week. She did a wonderful job welcoming all the new families to Lenski and answering all their questions! Thank you to all who volunteered their time to help get the class of 2033 ready to go!

We just wanted to send a quick note to say THANK YOU to all of you for all of your hard work and dedication to the Lenski PTO! We really appreciate everything you do, and we wouldn't be able to provide the support we do without each of you, so thank you. We're really looking forward to the second half of the school year! Holiday Outreach

Holiday Gifts
Thank you to Kelly Harrison and Amy Silverman for setting up and coordinating the Holiday Gift Giving for our amazing teachers, support staff, etc. Amy created and managed the jot form and Kelly ensured all donations were gathered and handed out to everyone before the holiday break! Thank you both for making it convenient for everyone to show their appreciation for all those that work with and for our kiddos everyday!
Thanking our Troops
The PTO would like to thank Sarah Bernauer for all her efforts coordinating the "Thanking our Troops" campaign. It was extra special being able to help a Lenski alum! Thank you to all the families that contributed items to help support those that protect us everyday.
Hearing and Vision Screening
Thank you to Amy Silverman for organizing and coordinating volunteers for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade Hearing and Vision screening last week! All the kiddos were taken to a from class to get their testing done and it was very efficient and ran smoothly!

The PTO would like to extend a huge thank you to Katie McKinster for organizing our book fair last week. It was an amazing success and it was great to see all the kids excited about reading! We know you worked tirelessly to ensure everything would be ready to go and it showed as you definitely went above and beyond!
Thank you to everyone that volunteered to help throughout the week...we know it was very busy and a little crazy at times but your efforts were very much appreciated!

The Food Drive has come to an end and the spirit of giving is alive and well at Lenski! You have once again shown your generosity and support of your community by donating 59 boxes of food – all of which directly benefits LPS students.
In addition to thanking all of you for your food donations, we would like to thank the fifth grade students who volunteered their time during lunch, Jeff Gruidel and Freight Logistics for donating boxes, and the many parent volunteers who contributed their time to this community effort.

The PTO would like to thank Cori Gummelt and Mackenzie Burford for organizing the food drive. There was a lot of coordination of efforts and countless hours collecting, sorting and boxing up all the donations and delivering items to the food pantry. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped sort items as well as all the families that contributed items to help LPS families in need!
We would also like to thank Katie Hebert and Jen Wescott for organizing and distributing our new spirit wear. We look forward to seeing everyone showing off their Lenski school spirit in their new gear!

The PTO would like to acknowledge the amazing work of Kelli Flansburg for putting on the first ever Lenski Trunk or Treat Fall Festival! Kelli, we can’t say THANK YOU enough for everything you did - creating flyers, collecting candy and trinkets, organizing all the games, organizing and getting donations, coordinating all the activities as well as communicating with the general community, the Lenski community and the teachers and room parents, etc. Kelli worked tirelessly to assure this community event was a success and it was such a wonderful evening!
We would also like to thank all the room parents, teachers and volunteers that helped design, decorate and man that trunks on Friday evening. They were all so creative and we were blown away by how awesome they all looked! Everyone went above and beyond, and we can't thank you enough for all of your time and effort that went into making the trunks amazing! Also, thank you to all the families that donated items (chips, candy, trinkets, etc.) to ensure this event was successful!

We would like to thank Andrea Mellyn for setting up and coordinating our first restaurant night of the year last week at Bad Daddy’s. It was a lot of fun seeing so many families enjoying an evening out! We are already looking forward to our next one on November 5th at Chick-Fil-A!
The PTO would like to thank Kelly Harrison for organizing a wonderful luncheon for the teachers yesterday. We would also like to thank everyone that volunteered and participated (by bringing food, decorating, cleaning up, etc.) for the lunch as well! Everything was delicious and the teachers and staff were so appreciative.

The PTO would like to thank Stephanie Wilcox for organizing room parents this year and for conducting the room parent meeting on the 6th. We also want to thank all the room parents that signed up to volunteer to help this year!
Thank you to everyone that attended our first PTO meeting last Friday. We had many new faces eager to help out which we are very excited about! As a reminder, anyone can be a part of the PTO and we welcome everyone at our next meeting on Friday, October 4th at 11:30.
Hats off to Deb Kennedy and Sarah D'Orvilliers for putting on an exciting and very energetic pep rally to kick off our major fundraiser for the year! All the kids received bracelets and pom poms, they had the music going and got everyone excited to raise some money for Lenski. Thank you to our "special guests"- Mrs. Wilhelm, Mrs. Brooks, Miss Ulmer and Miss Wilhelm for your amazing cheers and Lenski spirit!
